When my friends share with me the small steps they’re taking to green their lives it makes me so happy. I’m not trying to make anyone a radical treehugger, because I’m surely not one. Instead, I believe we all have a responsibility to current and future inhabitants of Earth to do what we can to protect the environment.

Derrick’s cucumbers and recycled paper towels
Today’s feature is my friend Derrick R. who shared the picture on the right with me yesterday. The cucumbers are the first harvest from his garden and he’s begun using 100% recycled paper towels. As the paper towel packaging states – “small steps”. Way to #gogreen Derrick!
